EVEREST 2013 Climb for Congo

In March 2013, Georgina Miranda will go back for her 2nd attempt to scale the world’s highest mountain, Mt. Everest, with one goal in mind of reaching the top of the world to bring support and awareness for the women of DRC. 

There will also be a team trekking to Everest Base Camp for the cause along side her. If you are interested in joining the Base Camp Trek for a great cause from April 1-19 please contact Georgina: gmiranda@climbtakeaction.com

About the Expedition: April 1-June 1


Georgina will be headed to Everest with Adventures Global led by Ronnie Muhl

Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu & transfer to hotel.
Day 2-3: Expedition briefing, preparation of equipment and welcome dinner.
Day 4: Fly to Lukla & trek to Phakding.
Day 5: Trek to Namche Bazaar.
Day 6: Rest & acclimatize around Namche Bazaar.
Day 7: Trek to Tengboche.
Day 8: Trek to Dingboche.
Day 9: Rest & acclimatize around Dingboche.
Day 10: Trek to Lobuche.
Day 11: Trek to Gorak Shep.
Day 12: Trek to Everest Base Camp.
Day 13: Expedition preparation in Base Camp.
Day 14-58: Climbing period on Everest.
Day 59: Trek to Pheriche.
Day 60: Trek to Tengboche.
