They have been generous enough to not only sponsor 50% of the climb cost, but also allow me to take 2 months off from work to complete the challenge. The entire team has been completely encouraging of my efforts and I am eternally grateful for the company's generosity and moral support! I feel so blessed to work for such a wonderful and extraordinary organization!

McKinney Rogers Foundation - McKinney Rogers believes in investing in the future and we recognize the need for skilled and dedicated business professionals to play an active role in the economic development of nations.   Since 2007 the MR Foundation has been sponsoring 12 talented students in East Africa - Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania – who, coming from particularly poor backgrounds, were unable to fund higher education. Their selection and ongoing support are administered via the East African Breweries Limited (EABL) Foundation. 

This Year The Foundation is increasing its reach across Asia, Europe and the Americas with the goal of identifying, targeting and supporting individuals from disadvantaged  backgrounds who show the talent, passion and entrepreneurial potential to achieve the extraordinary.  The Foundation will support these individuals through higher educational courses to equip them to succeed as entrepreneurs in the future.  The focus is on Growing Sustainable Entrepreneurship by equipping these individuals with the business skills necessary to be successful entrepreneurs in the future ready and able to make a difference in the world.
